Aberdeen are unsure whether youngster Leighton Clarkson will return to the club in the summer.
The 21-year-old impressed on loan at the Scottish club this season, having moved from Liverpool for regular game time.
Per the Daily Record, there is a general agreement between the clubs for Aberdeen to sign Clarkson.
However, the young talent wants a break to consider his future before committing.
He also has an offer from League One side Reading and teams in the English Championship.
Clarkson recently tweeted: “A big thank you to everyone involved @AberdeenFC for making this season an unforgettable one.
“From the staff, who helped me so much, to the players who welcomed me from day one and the fans who have given me nothing but respect and appreciation. I have made mates for life and memories that will stay with me forever. Last thing ….. Enjoy the European tour."
