AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli was reluctant to discuss Paolo Maldini's blockbuster interview today.
The Rossonero legend has spoken for the first time since his end of season sacking as technical director, taking aim at owner Gerry Cardinale, CEO Giorgio Furlani and president Paolo Scaroni.
Ahead of facing Frosinone, Pioli said: "No comment on most of the interview. I will always be grateful to Paolo and (Ricky) Massara, but now I can only throw everything I have into the present, to motivate my players and try to win tomorrow's match.
"Thanks Maldini, thanks Massara, but I am not alone and I have always been supported by the club."
Pioli had lunch with Cardinale ahead of his presser.
He added, "It was a very positive and very constructive meeting: it is certainly an additional stimulus for my work and for the work of the team."
