Adelaide United's Awer Mabil is set to complete a dream move to Europe after agreeing to join Danish club FC Midtjylland.
Adelaide are happy to grant the 19-year-old a transfer to the Danish champions, who are currently in the qualifying stages of the UEFA Champions league after a title winning season in 2014/15.
"We are really pleased for Awer, he is a great young man and has been a great example to all young footballers in Adelaide," said Adelaide CEO Michael Petrillo.
"It shows that if you have the passion and commitment you can forge a pathway through to the A-League with the Adelaide United Football Club and as in Awer's case, Europe.
"I'm sure that he will be a great addition to their team and we will miss him but understand that his desire and dream was to play in Europe.
"We are all very happy for him and pleased to have assisted in helping him achieve his goals."
