ADO Den Haag manager Alan Pardew is looking at former Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison as a possible signing.
The 26-year-old is with Sheffield United at present.
He signed a one year deal in the summer, but has only appeared once in the Premier League.
Sky Sportsreports that Morrison would be allowed to leave in January, and Pardew wants the attacking midfielder to help bolster his options going forward.
Pardew told Sky regarding his new job: "The club is in a bad position. The team look like they need help and confidence in what they're doing.
"I think additional players would help them, and of course I'll look at the British market because it's a market I know well.
"I've had a lot of lovely messages and good feeling from within the game. I have a lot of friends and I'm going to lean on them to hopefully get one or two players that can help this club."
