England international Jordan Henderson may be hoping to move clubs in the winter.
The Al-Ettifaq star is reportedly not happy with life in Saudi Arabia this season.
Henderson left his position as Liverpool captain for a major payday in Saudi in the offseason.
Per The Mirror, the Saudi Pro League club will accept a £12 million transfer fee for Henderson's signature.
However, he will have to give up his gigantic wage packet, as he is being linked to Ajax in Holland.
The Eredivisie club will not come close to the salary he is paid by Al-Ettifaq.
Another option for Henderson would be to go out on loan until the summer and then reassess his future.
Ajax coach John Van 't Schip said, "There is serious talk going on with Henderson.
"It could be a nice match. It's no secret that we could really use that type of player. Other guys can benefit from that."
But Van 't Schip also said, "There's still has some things to arrange in Saudi Arabia."
