Al Nassr ace Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed a dig at Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.
Messi won his eighth Ballon d'Or on Monday after leading Argentina to last year's World Cup triumph.
Seeing the Inter Miami star win the gong, AS football chief Tomas Roncero released a video, stating: "As a tribute it is very good. We know that he is already retired in Miami.
"In the World Cup he was good, with six penalties in favor. I do not remember the World Cup anymore, it happened in 2022. And he scored until August 2023. Five Ballons d'Or have been greatly deserved, but three others were given to him."
Roncero's video drew a response from Ronaldo, who posted a reply with several laughing emoticons.
