Almeria ace Sergio Arribas has explained leaving Real Madrid this past summer.

Arribas felt it was the right time to leave Castilla.

He said: "For it to be my first season I'm not looking bad, it is true that I needed to leave what Castilla was, I needed to go out to a Primera Division team to gain experience, to gain minutes.

"I still have to learn, to improve, it is my first season in the Primera Division, I am adapting well, I can only continue to improve and see if with a little luck we can save ourselves.

"I have lived in Madrid all my life with my family, with my friends, to suddenly live alone... The truth is that all these months my parents or my girlfriend have accompanied me, but it is true that I am alone most of the time, but from the beginning, people welcomed me very well."
