Almeria have cut short Arvin Appiah's loan with Tenerife.

The winger had joined Tenerife on-loan for the season, but the deal has been terminated by Almeria as the Englishman has struggled for minutes.

Appiah is Almeria's record signing, joining in 2019 from Nottingham Forest for €8.8m.

The attacker is expected to now be sent on-loan to Malaga or return to the UK, says Mundo Deportivo.

At Malaga, Appiah would work with Spanish coaching legend Pepe Mel.
