Arsenal are pushing Everton to open talks for Amadou Onana.
The London Evening Standard says Onana has emerged as an immediate target for the Gunners, which see him as a January signing.
The Belgium international would walk straight into the Gunners' midfield.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta sees Onana as a replacement for Thomas Partey, who is in talks about a departure.
Everton are insisting on at least £50-60m to part with the youngster.
