Arsenal are chasing after Orlando City and Uruguay star Facundo Torres.
The 22-year-old winger is wanted by the Premier League leaders, per 90Min.
However, the Gunners will not have an easy time securing his signature in the summer.
The source adds that a meeting with the player's representatives was not conclusive in either direction.
"Orlando City confirmed to me that there was contact with Arsenal, but then I left for the World Cup and I didn't want to hear about a potential transfer at that point," the player confirmed recently, per football.london.
"So the conversation stayed there but now that I am back with the team, we will see where the conversation goes," Torres added.
Torres has a release clause of £25 million in his Orlando City contract.
