Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says their Copa del Rey tie with Lugo will be a chance for their young players.

Simeone has no doubts about the motivation of his youngsters.

He said: "There are many boys who are excited to play to demonstrate what they are worth. With this we will seek to form the best possible team to win the match, which is our goal.

"We are going match by match, as we have always done. We will value the season at the end, not halfway, which is where we are now.

"That has always been our behavior and after so many years we will not change it."
