Former Nottingham Forest defender Renan Lodi has been linked with a return to the Premier League.
Lodi spent last term at Forest from Atletico Madrid, but the deal was not made permanent.
Per Foot Mercato, he may now be in line for a move to London side Brentford, despite signing for Marseille in the summer.
The Bees are serious about securing his signature to ease their defensive crisis.
The 25-year-old would be happy to move, as he would get to earn more in the Premier League than he does in Ligue 1.
The source adds that the most likely deal would be a loan with an obligation to buy.
