Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo's bitter exit from Manchester United is a shame.
That is the view of a former teammate, who feels that Al Nassr star Ronaldo should have left the Red Devils in a more amicable manner.
The winger is still regarded as a club legend, but behaved poorly in 2022 and was booted out by United in November - on the eve of the 2022 World Cup.
“I don't have respect for him because he doesn't show respect for me," Ronaldo said during an interview about manager Erik ten Hag.
“He was the best player in the world for me," ex-United defender Eric Bailly told The Athletic.
“Even when he returned, Cristiano contributed a lot to the club and a player like Cristiano deserves to feel important.
“It's a shame he left in the circumstances he did."
