Barcelona great Andres Iniesta has confirmed talks with Argentinos Juniors.

The midfielder has completed his departure from Vissel Kobe after his farewell game against Barcelona this week.

Argentinos Juniors chief and former Barca defender Gabi Milito has admitted their interest.

And Iniesta confirmed the words of his former teammate, stating: "We are in contact.

"I like to think a lot about the present, and the present is to continue playing, trying to play football for the years I have left, and then we'll see.

"As I have said many times, I would love to return to Barcelona at some point in my life, but I still think it is far away."
