Barcelona and PSG are pushing for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Barcelona have stepped up their interest in Guimarães, but cannot act until the summer, says Sport.

But Guimarães has no intention of waiting as he wants to leave Newcastle as soon as this month.

The midfielder is disappointed with the club's investment this season and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be pushing hard for a deal.

PSG coach Luis Enrique is keen to bring Guimarães into his PSG squad.

In October, the Brazil ace chose to extend his contract until 2028. According to several sources, he now has a buyout clause of €100m.
