Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel has lashed out at a rival manager for a comment he made.

Tuchel and Bayern secured the signing of Harry Kane from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Cologne coach Steffen Baumgart claimed the club should have signed Victor Boniface, who is now at Bayer Leverkusen, instead.

Ex-Chelsea manager Tuchel said, "It's good that Cologne's coach is concerned about our market.

"If we had known earlier, we would have expanded our transfer committee to nine people."

Bayern are hoping the signing of Kane can propel them towards glory in the Champions League.
