Brighton keen as Accrington selling Sykes to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise

Brighton are eyeing Accrington Stanley central-half Ross Sykes.

Sykes is joining Brighton's Belgian sister club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

The Sun says Accrington are selling Sykes to USG for £250,000.

USG are owned by Brighton supremo Tony Bloom, who will watch Sykes, 23, and consider a bid.

The centre-back played 44 times for Accy last season, as they achieved a solid mid-table finish in League One.

The Burnley-born defender has impressed in his time with the first team, after breaking into the setup in 2016.
