Brighton fullback Tariq Lamptey was delighted being part of their Europa League 2-2 draw at Olympique Marseille.
A late penalty converted by Joao Pedro earned Brighton their Europa League point after being 2-0 down.
Lamptey said: "It was a great game to play in. I think the boys were excellent. We dug in and turned the game around. We showed great character, so hopefully we can take that into the next game.
"We have come to a legendary stadium and we saw the fans who travelled. It is amazing. We thanked them at the end. We just hope to keep pushing. We know we have more to give, so we just have to keep working hard and listen to what the gaffer has to say. Hopefully this is the start of great things to come."
Pedro added: "It is a great point for us. I prepared myself to score when I came on. I saw the chance there. I asked Pascal (Gross), I said I was confident that I could take the penalty and I am happy that I scored."
