Bristol City defender Cameron Pring was floating after victory against FA Cup opponents West Ham.
Tommy Conway's third minute goal was enough to send City into the Fourth Round.
Pring said: "It is massive for me. That is the first time I've gone against a Premier League opposition and beat them so a big night for me and a huge night for the club. We need to take it into the league now.
"The crowd are massive here. They really do feel like a 12th man. You can feel the energy behind you. They were massive tonight.
"Tommy [Conway] has worked so hard. He hasn't scored as many as he'd like this season but he keeps doing the right things and getting in the right areas. We're delighted for him.
"I feel like we've got an identity now, we like to be on the front foot and press teams, it doesn't matter who we play. We've shown the togetherness in the squad tonight. When the game turns like that [with the red card] and into a scrap it pulls the boys together. The togetherness is massive in the squad at the moment."
