Cameroon coach Rigobert Song is delighted with the arrival of Andre Onana.
While the Manchester United goalkeeper didn't touch down in Ivory Coast in time for their AFCON opener against Guinea, Song says he's happy to count on his senior No1.
He said: "We all know that Onana remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
"I think that if we gave him authorisation it is because we know the qualities he has and what he can bring us. He has a high level of experience. It's not because he's late that he will create something in the group.
"He's doing very well, he's still competitive. Now what interests me is the Cameroon match."
Cameroon and Guinea played out a 1-1 draw in their group opener on Monday.
