Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez was happy with their 0-0 draw at Valencia.
It marked Benitez's first game back at the Mestalla in eight years.
Benitez said: "It was a game that was left a little open and could go one way or the other. We have had opportunities to be able to do something more but I am very happy because the team fights, competes and did not concede a goal, which is always positive.
"I was very excited. I liked seeing that photo at the entrance to the locker room and, of course, the reception from the people. Valencia will always be in my heart, with great memories of the people, the city, the team, the club and the successes achieved.
"It is a situation that has been complicated for us due to different circumstances but we are going to work and fight. This is a marathon and I trust that we have the strength to reach the end well."
