Chelsea executives are unhappy with the way certain first team players are being used.
The Blues' hierarchy have held talks regarding coach Mauricio Pochettino's use of Chelsea duo Armando Broja and Levi Colwill.
The academy products are not having the very best of seasons so far at Stamford Bridge.
Colwill has been used as a left-back rather than a central defender, while Broja has barely earned any starting minutes.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Chelsea hierarchy are concerned about Broja not starting against Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semi final first leg loss in midweek.
They also believe that Colwill should not be playing at left-back as often as is the case.
