Chelsea defender Axel Disasi says victory over Fulham is proof of their progress.

Disasi helped Chelsea keep a clean sheet for the 1-0 win on Saturday.

He told the club's website: "I think it was an important win after the loss we had in the League Cup.

"We just wanted to win and it feels great to have finished with the clean sheet so we have to keep this going.

"At the end Fulham pushed but we stuck together so it's good like this.

"We have to go step by step. It was a big win for us but we have to keep going, doing what we're doing, and stick together and not think about where that puts us in the table.

"Everything is good but we have to improve our game, to work again to gain more places in the table.

"We can see that game by game, we improve, but we have to keep going like this. Just because maybe for five games we did good, except the game in the cup, it's not that we can say everything is good now.

"We have to keep going in this way tomorrow to improve and I think if everything sticks together we will be great."
