Chelsea fullback Ian Maatsen is a step away from joining Borussia Dortmund.

That's according to Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg, who is reporting a deal is close to being struck.

Maatsen is set to join Dortmund on a six-month loan move with an option to buy.

A verbal agreement between all parties has been reached.

As such, Maatsen could be on the move to Dortmund in the coming days.
