Chelsea are ready to burn off Barcelona in the battle for Palmeiras whizkid Estevao Willian.

The 16 year-old prospect has talked up the prospect of joining Barca.

But Sport says Barca cannot afford to buy Estevão and may finish in England instead.

Chelsea are ready to pay the attacker's buyout clause - and buy him outright in the summer of 2025, after he turns 18.

The buyout clause is set at €60m.

In 2023, Estevão made his league debut for Palmeiras. However, there has been only one appearance in the Brazilian Serie A.
