Luton Town midfielder Tahith Chong felt it was important for them to win in the FA Cup this week.

The Hatters are through to the fourth round, beating League One side Bolton Wanderers 2-1.

After getting one over the lower division side in the replay, Chong hopes Luton can carry this momentum into their next Premier League games.

Post-game, Chong said: “Coming here we knew, tough game, they have an excellent team and they gave us a game, but eventually we were happy to win it.

“For us it's important to keep going and winning games, always winning games is important, whether that's the FA Cup or Premier League really."

On scoring himself, he added: “It's always nice to score a goal and help the team, but everyone is just more than happy to get the win really."
