Granada have snapped up River Plate goalkeeper Augusto Batalla.
Batalla is joining Granada on-loan to the end of the season. The deal includes a €2m obligatory permanent option should Granada stay up.
At 27 years old, the Argentine has been defending the goal of San Lorenzo in recent seasons, where he has impressed, even keeping a clean sheet on 14 occasions in the last year, something that Granada has not yet achieved this year.
Batalla has had a long career in South America, with 70 games for San Lorenzo, 51 with River Plate and 43 for O'Higgins of the Chilean league.
