Roma striker Ola Solbakken has joined J-League giants Urawa Red Diamonds.

The Norway international joins Urawa on-loan to the end of the season.

Roma announced today: "AS Roma announces that it has reached an agreement with Urawa Reds for the temporary transfer of Ola Solbakken.

Solbakken, who arrived at Roma in January 2023, made 15 appearances and 1 goal for the Giallorossi before moving on a temporary basis to Olympiakos last September. The Club wishes Ola the best of luck for this new adventure in Japan."

In Saitama Solbakken will find his Norway teammate Marius Høibråten.
