Former Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi is critical of defender Nikola Milenkovic.

Rossi wasn't surprised seeing Milenkovic struggle in defeat to Lazio.

He told Rai Radio 1 Sport: "Today's defender must above all know how to defend, then if he also knows how to set up well from behind, the better.

"But the main quality of a defender is attention. There is a reason why the great teams ultimately didn't sign Milenkovic: he has undoubted qualities, but he can't maintain high attention in decisive moments.

"As a coach I would have been angry even if that mistake had been made by a child from the youth sector, let alone at these levels. Plausible, then it was a baptized ball, what he did wasn't logical."
