Former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie says a move into coaching is unlikely.
Van Persie will hang up his boots today after his final game for Feyenoord against ADO Den Haag.
“Becoming a trainer means stress. If you do it like Pep Guardiola, you are busy day and night," Van Persie told AD.
"And with three defeats your head's on the chopping block. As a player you have direct influence on the result, as a trainer indirectly. Then you are at the mercy of your players.
"See how Marco van Basten was treated as a trainer. The magic disappeared. He was suddenly caught. It is a tough business. I first will take some time. I wanted to end my career. I think that was successful."
