Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol has returned to Dutch football at Alan Pardew's ADO Den Haag.
Pardew was appointed as manager of the Dutch side earlier this week, with Chris Powell named as his assistant.
Jol has been named technical director, having previously represented Den Haag as a player and was a member of their supervisory board between 2015 and 2017.
General manager Mohammed Hamdi told the club's official website: "Martin is one of the most prominent Dutch trainers. And also a football monument in The Hague.
"It's fantastic that he, together with Alan Pardew and the rest of the staff, wants to do everything to get ADO Den Haag out of this awkward position.
"I am confident that they can get the job done. After all, together they have more than five hundred matches of experience as manager-coach in the Premier League, the strongest competition in the world."
