Former Watford striker Troy Deeney has been sacked as manager by Forest Green Rovers.
Deeney lasted six games before being axed by the worst performing club in the Football League.
Forest Green Rovers chairman Dale Vincent said: "These are decisions nobody likes to make, but we have acted this way to give FGR the best possible chance of improving results and climbing the league table.
"We wish Troy all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts."
Dan Connor will take charge of Forest Green for Saturday's match at Gillingham.
Forest Green sit bottom of League Two.
