The father of Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is backing Brighton's move for Boca Juniors wing-back Valentin Barco.
Mac Allister made a similar move before joining Liverpool this season.
Carlos Mac Allister told Olé: "He has a lot of quality.
“But be aware that, when you get there, you have to adapt to other situations.
“Maybe you have a lot of time on the bench.
“It happened to Alexis and you have to keep going as always, waiting to grow and for the chance to play.
“Don't be long-faced or complain.
“He will have to work on the physical aspect or learn English if he doesn't already speak it.
“But I think it is a great opportunity for Brighton and for Barco.
“They are a very methodical club, they pay attention to all the details before bringing in a player.
“If they take him, it is because they know everything he can give them."
