Frosinone coach Eusebio di Francesco says his players must learn from last night's 5-0 defeat at Atalanta.
Di Francesco admits they failed to compete physically against La Dea.
He said: "I can't be happy, we are in a difficult moment, we have to be good at keeping calm. I can't believe that this is the same team that scored 19 points but even in defeats there were always good performances.
"Today, however, I make mea culpa. It wasn't a good performance, we only reacted at the beginning of the second half, doing some good things. At the end we dropped again, as on the occasion of the fourth goal and risked suffering an even more significant deficit.
"We can't approach matches like this. If you don't run, if you aren't determined and don't defend with impetus, there's little point in talking about formations.
"If you want to save yourself, certain aspects of the game cannot be missed. The boys must understand that the second round will be even more difficult and we cannot do without these characteristics."
