Tottenham outcast Djed Spence may be on his last chance to save his career at the club.
The right-back has been sent to Genoa on loan for the rest of the season.
Spence will play in Serie A as part of the deal bringing Radu Dragusin into Spurs from Genoa.
Spence has played a little more than 30 minutes for Spurs in his career, while he has only started 14 matches in 18 months during various loan spells.
Spence, who excelled at Nottingham Forest on loan under Steve Cooper a few years ago, has not replicated that form anywhere else.
When he was at Middlesbrough, veteran manager Neil Warnock remarked: “I basically said to him that you can go to the top or you can go non-League."
