Getafe president Angel Torres has confirmed their interest in Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz.

The youngster has been encouraged to find himself a new club by Real coach Zinedine Zidane after struggling to make a first team impression over the past season.

Torres, who holds a Real Madrid membership, admits Getafe are keen on Brahim.

He declared, “Real Madrid knows that we are interested in him.

"If they let us and he wants to come, we will make a place for him in Getafe."

Brahim has other suitors in LaLiga, like Real Betis. The arrival of new coach Manuel Pellegrini could tip the balance in favour of the Sevillian team.

Pellegrini worked with him at Malaga and insisted Manchester City bring the midfielder to England when in charge.
