Girona coach Michel hopes for new arrivals

Girona coach Michel admits he'd like to add to his squad this month.

The Catalans remain a title contender with the second-half of the season now underway.

Michel said: "As long as the club makes steps forward it will be good.

“Right now there is the possible departure of Ibra Kebé, so we would need a player in that position.

"if someone comes, it should be to improve the squad. I just want to work in the same way, I don't ask for more."

Girona meet Almeria this weekend.

Michel added: "I said at the beginning of the season that the first objective was to continue in the Primera Division, the second is to be among the top ten and the third is to surpass the best Girona in history.

"We cannot think that our objective is to win the League..."
