Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has joined ex-teammate Frank Lampard in the race to become the next Oxford United manager.
Oxford United are currently on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Michael Appleton to Leicester City and recently, Chelsea legend Frank Lampard had been mentioned as a shock contender for the job.
Now according to reports from The Sun, another Chelsea icon in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been placed as a candidate to take over the reins at the League One outfit.
The Dutchman is already said to have held discussions over the vacant managerial position at the Kassam Stadium.
