Hellas Verona coach Marco Baroni was left satisfied with their 2-2 draw against Lecce.
Baroni admitted some frustration, but will take the point.
He said, "Definitely, but I saw the right attitude. We are sorry for the result, but there are positive things. We came back twice and had shots on target several times. I told the boys, there is room to do well.
"To save yourself you need commitment, self-denial and a lot of determination. We conceded two goals in a foolish way. The team wants to get out of this situation."
On goalscorer Cyril Ngonge, Baroni also said: "Yes, we have to put him at the centre of our system. They have to do even more, we need everyone. The team is responding, we shouldn't be afraid, they can compete with anyone."
