Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi says victory over Hellas Verona was deserved.
Inter managed to win 2-1 with a scratchy performance. Davide Frattesi and Lautaro Martinez struck for the hosts.
“I liked the way the team played in possession," said Inzagi. “Even if we had to be more precise.
“We were up against a quality opponent who played an excellent match.
“The last few minutes were breathless. After Henry's equalizer we had a few chances. Then we scored the winner, and they got a penalty.
“It was a nervy match, but these matches are also very important."
Inzaghi added: “I think the penalty against (Matteo) Darmian was fair. He knew that he'd made contact."
