Jadon Sancho retains hope of rescuing his Manchester United career.

The England winger is the subject of major interest from former club Borussia Dortmund ahead of the January market.

But Sky Deutschland says Sancho would prefer his career at Old Trafford to resume.

The midfielder has a 'secret desire' to stay with United.

Sancho hasn't been part of first team training since September after hitting out a manager Erik ten Hag for being dropped for defeat at Arsenal.

United manager Erik ten Hag said yesterday: "He knows what he has to do, it is up to him.

"What will happen there, he knows what he has to do, if he wants to return it is up to him. It is about a culture and every player has to match certain standards and it was about that."
