Juventus chief Giuntoli happy leaving Samardzic scrap to Napoli and Brighton

Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli says they won't compete for Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic.

Napoli and Brighton are battling for the Serb's signature.

Giuntoli told Mediaset: "Samardzic? We are happy with the squad we have, we have no particular needs. We evaluate possible opportunities, but so far there haven't been any."

Asked about a new midfielder, he also said: "Let's see if the conditions are there, both technical and economic. The market is still long, we have no anxiety.

"We are doing very well, we keep our feet on the ground. Let's work to grow and then we'll do the math at the end."
