Lazio defender Patric admits Bayern Munich is a massive challenge.

Lazio meet Bayern in February in the Champions League round of 16.

Spaniard Patric said: "A target for 2023? Last year we had a great championship. Unfortunately, the current one didn't start well but we still reached a fundamental goal like the Champions League round of 16.

"Playing against Bayern Munich is every child's dream. For us and for the fans it will be an important match. In Serie A we are not doing well but now I am sure that by playing fewer close matches we will be able to recover. I have so much faith in this team.

"On a personal level, I am happy to be able to give my contribution to Lazio and I hope to remain with the Biancoceleste for many years. In life the most important things are health, humility and family and Christmas is special because it always offers the opportunity to be together."
