Argentina legend Lionel Messi will be the winner of the prestigious Ballon d'Or title yet again.
Messi will sweep up his EIGHTH Ballon d'Or, which is the most for any player in history.
The 36-year-old, who plays for MLS side Inter Miami, will get the honor for his World Cup success with Argentina, per SPORT in Spain.
Messi did face competition from Erling Haaland, who won the treble with Manchester City.
However, the Norway attacker was not at the World Cup, while he struggled in the latter stages of the Champions League.
Haaland drew blanks in both Champions League semi final legs and in City's 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the final.
