Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has paid tribute to attacker Cody Gakpo.
Klopp is delighted with the influence the Holland international is having amongst the players.
He said on Liverpool's YouTube channel: “He's incredibly nice, incredibly smart.
"When I met Cody he was captain of his old club in Eindhoven (PSV). After ten minutes you will understand why."
Gakpo admits he grew up admiring Diego Maradona.
“When I started playing football I had Diego Maradona 's name on my shirt. I trained a lot with my father. I think Maradona and Pélé used to be his heroes, because he always showed me videos of them. That's how I got to know them, they were great," said Gakpo.
