Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk hailed the performance of Mohamed Salah after their draw at Brighton.
Salah scored both goals in the 2-2 draw at Falmer stadium on Sunday.
His captain Van Dijk said afterwards: "Yeah, he is. Obviously it's always the case, he's a very important member of the team, on the pitch and off the pitch. Today he showed that as well with the two goals. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to get the win, of course."
Van Dijk added: "Obviously we came here to win, I think we had opportunities to do so as well but in the end a draw after a difficult game, I think. Quite open, both sides, at times.
"Overall, quite even, but looking at my own team, obviously we had opportunities to try to win it."
