Liverpool are favourites to sign Aberdeen fullback Calvin Ramsay.

Football Insider says Liverpool are set to beat Leeds to the signing of Ramsay from Aberdeen with a move now thought to be close.

Talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage.

Leeds had been fighting the FA and Carabao Cup winners for the 18-year-old's signature but appear to have lost out to the Reds.

The Whites have swiftly turned their attention elsewhere at right back, though, with a deal for Red Bull Salzburg's Rasmus Kristensen close to completion.
