Liverpool are scouting 18-year-old Chicago Fire attacker Jhon Duran with a view to a winter or summer transfer.

The Reds are eagerly scouting the world to ensure they are attracting the best young talent to revitalize their squad.

Per reports in Columbia, Liverpool have sent a scout to watch Duran in action.

It is the same scout who helped them target and eventually sign Luis Diaz from FC Porto.

Duran was impressive at the weekend, helping Chicago Fire win against Cincinnati 3-2, scoring two goals.

Liverpool's target scored with a left-footed strike, while scoring a clever lob as well.
