Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has explained his outstanding solo goal after returning to Premier League action.
De Bruyne was valuable for City in a 3-2 win over Newcastle United at the weekend.
He came off the bench to score a long distance equalizer and then laid on a brilliant assist for youngster Oscar Bobb to score the winner.
"It's not coincidental, it's well thought out," he told Play Sports on his equalizer.
"I see with the move that I make that Julian [Alvarez] goes to the right and he takes [Sven] Botman with him and I see that [Fabian] Schar is making himself look as big as possible because it's one-on-one.
"In my head his legs are wide open, so of course I tried to shoot through the legs and then it went into the corner perfectly so yeah, it was conscious. It's very difficult for the goalkeeper to respond. That's why I took it on the inside of my foot and tried to focus on precision because otherwise it wouldn't have worked."
