Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has explained his touchline row with Kevin de Bruyne during their rout of Real Madrid.
Guardiola says there's still improvements to be made after reaching the Champions League final.
He explained, "In the second half we rushed a lot. As soon as Gundogan left, he lost a ball, Kevin made three transitions that weren't necessary and we accelerated a lot when we had to do the opposite, sink them and turn them around a lot.
"That's why we haven't been so good."
However, Guardiola valued a great victory that allowed him to remove the thorn from the elimination of 2022 when Real stopped them at the semifinal stage.
“We have played with the stomach ache from last year and we have removed it. These matches have to be played with great intensity, and I'm very happy to be in the final."
